Nagpur Varsity reschedules 8 papers to avoid clash with SET

In order to avoid clash with the upcoming State Eligibilty Test (SET) on April 16, Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur Univesity has changed the examination schedule of its 8 papers for B.Sc, BCA and MLS. A notification to this regard has been recently uploaded on the university’s website.

As per the new schedule, the second semester of B.Sc. which was to commence from April 16 has now been postponed to May 13. Similarly B.Sc. third semester exam will start from May 13 instead of April 16. B.Sc. sixth semester examination will now be conducted from May 12. BSc Forensic (part-2) examination will start from April 27. B. Sc.(IT) second semester will commence from May 13, B.Sc. (IT) sixth semester from April 30 and BCA second semester will commence from May 13 and BCA sixth semester from April 30. The second year examination for MLS will begin from April 26.

Sources said the examination has been rescheduled in view of State Eligibility Test. The new development has been reportedly causing a great deal of inconvenience to the concerned students.

When Nagpur Today spoke to Deputy Vice Chancellor Dr P G Yeole in this regard, he said the changes have been made keeping SET in mind. He also added that there would be no further change in the schedule and this would be final.
