This makeover marks a strategic move by Air India Express to expand its fleet with 55 Boeing 737 MAX8 aircraft, originally slated for Chinese carriers such as Shanghai Airlines, China Eastern, and Air China. The decision to customize the aircraft with a state-specific livery underscores Air India Express’ commitment to regional identity and cultural representation.

TASL shared this information through a video post on the social networking site X, highlighting their role in delivering high-volume metallic components crucial for these top-tier aircraft programs.
