Nagpur: On the occasion of Ram Navami, a grand procession has been organized by Paschim Nagpur Nagarik Sangh, Ramnagar, on Thursday, March 26, 2026. The procession will pass through major areas including Ramnagar Square, Gokulpeth Market, Laxmibhavan Square, Dharampeth Coffee House Square, Mama Road, Zenda Square, Laxminarayan Square, Shankarnagar, Bajaj Nagar, Laxminagar, Shraddhanand Peth, VNIT Gate, LAD Square, and Tidke Square, before concluding at Ramnagar Ram Temple.
Due to the procession, traffic diversions will be implemented along the route at different time intervals. The traffic department has appealed to citizens to follow the schedule and use alternate routes to avoid inconvenience.
Traffic Diversion Schedule & Alternate Routes:
- 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM (Ramnagar Square to Laxmibhavan Square):
Traffic from Ravi Nagar Square will be diverted via Law College Square. From Tidke Y Point, vehicles will be redirected towards Shankarnagar via LAD Square. - 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM (Dharampeth Coffee House Square to Zenda Square):
Alternate route via Law College Square to Bhole Petrol Pump Square. Traffic from Dharampeth Y Point will be diverted via Alankar Square / Ajit Bakery T Point. - 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM (Laxmibhavan Square to Laxminagar Square):
Diversion via Dharampeth Y Point, Alankar Square, Kachipura Square, and Matakacheri Square. - 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM (Laxminagar to Shraddhanand Peth):
Traffic will be rerouted from Matakacheri Square via NIT T Point, RPTS Road, and Jerry Lawn. - 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM (Shraddhanand Peth to Tidke Y Point):
Diversions via Matakacheri Square, Kachipura Square, and Alankar Square.

- Avoid the affected routes during the specified timings
- Follow instructions issued by traffic police
- Cooperate with authorities by using alternate routes
The Deputy Commissioner of Traffic Police has urged citizens to maintain discipline and prioritize safety during the festive period.
