Nagpur News: There was some respite from scorching heat for Nagpurians today, as the mercury marginally dropped to 46.6 degree Celsius against the all-time high of 47.9, in the city yesterday.

Chandrapur recorded the highest temperature yesterday at 48.2 degree Celsius. However, the heat came down a bit today and stood at 47.3 degrees, the highest in Vidarbha.

Bramhapuri recorded 46.7 degree Celsius while temperatures in other cities were: Akola — 43.9, Yavatmal — 43.4, Gondia — 45.3, Washim –42.2, Wardha — 45.5, Amravati — 44.6, the Regional Meteorological Centre said today.
