Nagpur: As part of the Round Table India Week, Nagpur Spirits Round Table 258 has organized various activities for the underprivileged children from different schools and organizations in their weeklong events which started from today 11th November and will continue till 18th November, 2017.
According to Press release the activities planned for 11/11/2017 will be a Leadership and Personality Development session on Girl Child Abuse Prevention Awareness, which will be conducted at Sangam Madhyamik Vidyalaya, Nara, Nagpur. The following day will involve tree sapling plantation as part of National Go Green Initiative with kids at the same venue.
On 13/11/2017 NSRT 258 has joined hands with Jeevan Jyoti Blood Bank like last year and organized a Blood Donation Camp at Shri Shivam Fortune Mall where around 60 people would participate.
To mark the Children’s Day and National Taare Zameen Par Day celebration, NSRT 258 has organized a day long educational picnic for 50 students and teaching staff of Deshmukh High school, Lakadganj at Raman Science Centre. They would also be provided lunch at the venue.
As part of the National Swachh Bharat Abhiyan Day, the tablers would participate in cleaning the park and cage area of Maharaj Bagh Zoo on 15/11/2017.
On 16/11/2017, NSRT 258 would donate artificial limb to the needy.
On the 17/11/2017, an exciting flee market woild be set up for the inmates of Shradhanand anathalaya where children would be handed over some mock money and they could buy various stuff from the stalls which would be set up.
The RTI Week will culminate on 18/11/2017, with a nature trek and table fellowship at Gorewada Zoo.
