Nagpur: The Nagpur district witnessed 46 cases of recovery as against 18 new cases of Covid-19 in one single-day on Wednesday. This is a good number of recoveries in the last one month. This has taken the cumulative recovery to 5,67,852. The recovery rate stood at 98.21%.

This has led to reduction in active cases to 296. On Tuesday, the active cases were 324. There is a drastic reduction in single-day COVID 19 cases as 18 persons tested positive for coronavirus. Of the single-day cases, Nagpur rural reported 4 cases while 14 found positive in the city taking the cumulative cases to 5,78,486. No COVID-19 death was reported in the city but the number of persons admitted in hospital increased to 7 from 3. One each is admitted in Government Medical College and Hospital, Kingsway Hospital, Wockhardt, Seven Star and three in Meditrina Hospital.

The district reported a marginal fall in testing to 1,488. Nagpur rural reported 502 testing and city registered 986 testing. This has taken the cumulative testing to 54,51,812.
