Nagpur round table 83 benefits 700 students on Independence Day; Round table India wins accolades at the international level



Nagpur Round table 83 along with Nagpur Ladies Circle 50, celebrated Independence Day with more than 700 underprivileged students of Jeevan Sikshan Vidyalaya, Uday Sikshan Sanstha, Parvati Nagar.

Chairman of Nagpur Round Table 83, Tr. Gaurav Agarwal and Chairperson of Nagpur Ladies Circle 50, Cr. Deepti Pandhi were the guests of honor at the function and they unfurled the National Flag. All the students, Teachers and guests present sang the national anthem with great pride on the 69th Independence Day of India.

On this glorious day 32 Merit students were given cash prizes sponsored by Ajay Agrawal of Nagpur Round Table 83 to acknowledge their excellence in academics. Some students (8 boys and 7 girls) who were not able to afford uniforms of the school were given uniforms which were sponsored by Rahul Dalmiya.


To make this day special for each student present in the school, gifts were distributed to one and all. More than 700 packets of biscuits, Frooti Juice, and a Geometry box with all stationery were gifted by Nagpur Round Table 83. Nagpur Ladies Circle gifted a plastic lunch Plate and glass to each student.

It was a heart-warming experience to touch the lives of more than 700 students who hail from poor families and see a smile on their faces and making their day special.

Meanwhile in the World meet of Round Table International being held at Sweden, where of more than 67 countries are being represented, Round Table India won the accolade of the Best Round Table Association in the World. It is indeed a proud moment for all the members of Round Table India to receive this award and a proud moment for the country as well.

Also, the current Area Secretary & Treasurer of Round Table India, Devendra Gandhi being nominated as the best floor tabler among 60000 tabler’s worldwide, came as a yet another proud news.
