Nagpur: Entire Nagpur roads are in extremely worst state of its existence, thanks to the recent rains which not only exposed the substandard quality of road works but also added to the woos of citizens. Big and dangerous potholes are formed on many busy stretches in the city but to the utmost surprise of the citizens, civic body is could find even one pothole. Atleast the committee formed to carry out the task feels so!!!
At a time when entire city stretches have turned into big craters, finding a pothole may be difficult and we understand this. Nothing can be more ironical than this, when Nagpur district Guardian Minister, also the State’s Energy Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule tries to shrug the responsibility off his shoulders and passed the buck to the Mayor Praveen Datke who is also cross handed, awaiting the report of committee pushed into the work of finding potholes on city roads!

Countering the deluge of questions on this front, Bawankule could not utter a single word and conveniently directed the queries to the Mayor Praveen Datke who too maintained a telling silence except saying that he was waiting for the committee’s report. NMC has assigned the task to identify potholes in the city to the corporator Sunil Agrawal.
On the other hand the citizens are extremely stressed with the potholes as they find it too dangerous to ride two-wheeler on every road. But according to the mayor, the action would only be taken after the committee finds some potholes!!!

NMC is certainly at its worst these days. The condition of roads is not hidden to anyone and the civic body and the mayor is awaiting report of the committee which could not find even one pothole in the city! Isn’t it the mockery of citizens who are just mute spectators and destined to face all that comes their way – be it corruption or potholes??? Which committee and what amount of enquiry will ever expose these corrupt and whimsical authorities who can fool the citizens in every which way possible???
