Nagpur: Acting under the directive of Zone 1 Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Lohit Matani, the MIDC Police Station launched a crackdown on illegal gambling activities in the city.
In one raid, Omprakash alias Sonu Tulshidas Jaykalyani was arrested, along with five other individuals, as part of the operation. The police seized ₹21,610 in cash from the accused. Meanwhile, in a separate raid in the Khamla area, officers arrested Afzal Khan, the main accused, along with 10 others. During this operation, ₹47,335 in cash was confiscated, and further investigations are underway.
