According to information, a pregnant woman from Tajabad was admitted to the hospital at around 11.30 pm on Saturday. The family said that a Caesarean section was performed at around 8 am on Sunday.
Following the delivery, the newborn reportedly showed no signs of movement. After examination, the baby was declared dead, leaving the family devastated and prompting relatives to confront the hospital authorities.
The relatives created a commotion on the hospital premises, alleging negligence in the treatment and demanding strict action against those responsible. They also sought the sealing of the hospital pending an inquiry.
Police deploy personnel, await medical findings
Police personnel were deployed at the hospital to manage the situation and prevent further escalation. The newborn’s post-mortem examination has been conducted, and investigators are awaiting the report to determine the cause of death.

Further action will depend on the evidence and findings that emerge during the investigation.
Cause of death yet to be established
The exact circumstances leading to the newborn’s death remain unclear. While the family has alleged medical negligence, the allegation is yet to be established through an investigation.
The post-mortem findings and subsequent medical scrutiny are expected to play a crucial role in determining the cause of death and whether any lapse occurred during the treatment or delivery.
The incident has raised questions about the circumstances surrounding the delivery, but the final conclusions will depend on the medical findings and the outcome of the official inquiry.
