Nagpur: One of the most zealous teams, Create-e-Witty Media Notions from Nagpur won back to back awards at the India Film Project Season 7 at Nehru Centre, Mumbai.
‘Footsteps’ a short film made by the team went on to win the Platinum Film Award for best film in the mobile film category.
India film project is Asia’s largest content creation and short film festival in which more than 28200 filmmakers made 1503 films from more than 290 cities across 18 countries participated to make their films in 50 hours.
Another notable work of Create-E-Witty Media Notions team was that they had made two films in 50 hours, one for the mobile film category and the other in the professional film category and won awards in both. ‘Faulen’ another film from the team had won the Gold Film Award for best film in the professional film category. The prestigious awards were received from Aniruddh Roy Chowdhury, Director of the film Pink who was the judge. Apart from their films, the other films also had notably brilliant content which had come from other parts of Asia as well.
The same team had won the gold film award in the amateur film category last year. Both the award winning films were directed by city’s well known director Aditya Sharma.

The responsibility of capturing the film in the camera was with city’s ace Director of Photography – Kundan Sad who was also the team leader; Aashish Maske and Tripti Rai contributed in Art Direction, Chetan Gughane was the Executive Producer, Mohit Khobragade and Payal Pillewar were in the direction team; assisting the director, Pawan Piprode was in charge of the entire Post- Production, Kushagra Jaiswal served as the Associate Director, Akshay Sawarkar was the Production Manager, Siddhesh Patil, Abhilash Vishwakarma and Raaj Malaviya belonged to the camera team, Raj Reddy created the Background Score for the films, Akhilesh Tripathi was the Casting Director, Kaustubh Paralkar contributed as Camera Assistant., Laxmi Gadge contributed as the D.I.T., Prakash Muley in Lighting, Seshu KMR did the Sound Effects, Nakul was the Make-up man. The scripts of both the films were written by Ankit Bhuptani. The actress Bianca Nazareth – Arya’s work in Faulen was a special mention and was praised unanimously by the jury and audience alike.
Vishnuji Manohar, Aditya Buty and Roheet Rahate provided with the locations, Dheer Charan Srivastav provided the equipment. This high spirited team has consistently won accolades and appreciation around the country and are now proving to be the flag bearers of sensible cinema.
