
Nagpur: Jubilant scenes unfolded in Nagpur as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) celebrated its strong performance in the Assembly elections in West Bengal, Assam, and Puducherry. Party workers marked the occasion with enthusiasm, distributing traditional ‘Jhalmudi’ and bursting firecrackers at the BJP’s regional office in Dhantoli on Monday.
The celebrations witnessed the presence of prominent leaders including MLAs Pravin Datke and Krishna Khopde, Mayor Neeta Thakre, and BJP City President Dayashankar Tiwari. Several senior party functionaries and corporators also joined the celebrations, reflecting a strong show of unity and support.
Among those present were Shrikant Aaglave, Sandip Jadhav, Ritesh Gawande, Manisha Dhawde, Vishnu Changde, Narendra Borkar, Milind Mane, Shrikant Deshpande, and Jaiprakash Gupta, along with a large number of party workers.
The atmosphere was charged with patriotic fervour as slogans like “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “Vande Mataram” echoed through the premises. Party leaders termed the electoral outcome as a significant milestone, viewing it as a reflection of growing public support and renewed political momentum for the BJP across regions.
