Nagpur News : The preparation has been paced up in the city in view of upcoming winter session of state assembly. Repair works are going on in full swing at Ravi Bhawan, and the water supply there has been temporarily discontinued for the same.
However, no leads still pour in regarding the conclusion ceremony of Amrit Mahotsav of Legislative Assembly. Insiders though claimed that initiatives are also being taken in this regard. As per the plan, the concluding program for Amrit Mahotsav has been scheduled to be held in Nagpur.
Efforts are also on to invite Prime Minister Manmohan Singh at this ceremony. However, sources said that Prime Minister would be running short of time and hence could not attend the ceremony. Taking the PM’s time constraint into account, the event is now speculated to be postponed to January next year.
Meanwhile, whispers are still running rife in political circles as to who would reside in Devgiri – the deputy CM’s official residence in Nagpur – this session, as the post has been lying vacant after the resignation of Ajit Pawar.
