Nagpur: Hundreds of Congress workers erupted in joy as trends showed the party marching towards victories in Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. As the counting of votes of Assembly polls in these states started and the trends trickled in showing Congress recapturing the three states, the party workers gathered at Gittikhadan Square in city and danced to the beats of dhol tasha.
The workers hit the roads and burst crackers, distributed sweets and smeared gulal on the faces of each other. One could see the joy on the faces of the workers as the trends showed Congress winning the Assembly elections in Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.
The jubilant party workers were seen sloganeering and dancing with full fervour.
