Nagpur: Eid can never be so tempting, especially when you crave for hot piping sheerkhurma (vermicelli soaked in milk) loaded with all the dry fruits, followed by the delicious bites of biryani! Yes, as the city goes in for Eid celebrations with cheers and gusto, rains turned up in the city’s dry and barren scapes to give a drizzling Eidi (an Eid gift usually exchanged among community people) to one and all!
While the Muslims across the city gather to mark the solidarity and offer ‘namaz’ to the almighlty, rains follwed without fail. Here we say ‘without fail’ as we hope you understand how rains have been playing hide and seek for over last fortnight, hovering the clouds of uncertainty.
