Nagpur – A parked car suddenly caught fire near the VNIT gate opposite Abhyankar Nagar, under the jurisdiction of Bajaj Nagar Police Station. Within moments, the vehicle was engulfed in flames and completely gutted. The fire department was alerted immediately and arrived at the scene to control the blaze. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident.
According to reports, a group of people had arrived at a café-restaurant in Abhyankar Nagar in a car bearing the registration number MH40AR4999. After stepping out and heading inside the restaurant, the parking guard attempted to move the vehicle to a proper parking spot. That’s when he noticed smoke emerging from the car.

Upon seeing the smoke, the driver quickly exited the vehicle. Within seconds, flames spread throughout the entire car. Nearby people immediately informed the Trimurti Nagar fire station. Acting swiftly, the fire brigade reached the location and managed to extinguish the fire. However, by the time they intervened, the car was already completely charred.
There were no casualties or injuries in the incident.
