Umesh Purandas Selkar
Nagpur: Tension and panic gripped the Government’s Chokhamela Hostel, situated near Deekshabhumi, when one of its students reportedly committed suicide on Tuesday, mysteriously. The deceased has been identified as Umesh Purandas Selkar (28), native of Chikhlapar, Bhivapur. According to police, Umesh ended his life by hanging to pipe of water tank in the terrace of Chokhamela Hostel with the help of a dupatta (scarf). However, no suicide note was found from Umesh leading to suspense over the reason behind the extreme step.
Dhantoli police have registered a case of accidental death and investigating the matter from all angles.
