    Mumbai Police Troll a Scene from Dhadak, Janhvi Kapoor Responds

    The trailer of Janhvi Kapoor’s debut film Dhadak was released a few days back and received a lot of mixed emotions from its audience. Several shots were taken from the film and were turned into trolls and memes. While these were making its rounds on the internet, there was one that was shared today by Mumbai Police on Twitter that made the news.

    In the original scene, Janhvi asks her co-star Ishaan Khattar whether he noticed her to which he describes everything about her dress and hair. In the picture shared by Mumbai Police, they added the three traffic lights on Janhvi’s face and on top of the picture was written, “Traffic signals have emotions too”. Janhvi too found it funny and shared a story on her Instagram and wrote, “Enjoyed this.”

    This upcoming film of Janhvi, Dhadak is a remake of the Marathi film Sairat and will hit the theatres in July. Janhvi in an interview mentioned how special this film is to her since Sairat was a film that she had watched with her mommy who wanted her to do a film like this. During the release of the trailer, Janhvi was asked about her mother to which she had a very gentle and calm reply.

    While the young actor was holding her emotions in, her sister Khushi Kapoor could not hold back her emotions and went on to hug her sister on stage while she was sobbing. The film directed by Shashank Khaitan focuses on a forbidden love-story in the current socio-political environment, is slated to hit theatres on July 20.
