Mumbai murder accused nabbed in Nagpur hotel

Nagpur: A run away criminal from Mumbai wanted as prime accused in a murder case has been nabbed in a hotel in Nagpur on Thursday night.

The accused identified as Akbar Aamir Badshah Sheikh, resident of Matunga in Mumbai, was arrested by unit 3 of Nagpur police. Cops arrested Sheikh along with his accomplice and handed over to Mumbai police. Sheikh was on the run after being accused in the murder of senior citizen.

He was reportedly absconding with the deceased’s 30 tola gold. Mumbai police had sent out different 5 teams for investigation. Of these, one team of a police sub inspector and Assistant Police Inspector had landed Nagpur on Thursday night.

Following tip off, unit 3 police, laid a trap near hotel Trend and nabbed accused with the charges of murder and robbery.
