Nagpur: The Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana (MMLBY) has received an impressive response in Nagpur district, with 887,015 applications submitted as of August 22. Divisional Commissioner Vijayalaxmi Bidari encouraged those who haven’t applied yet to do so online by August 31.
The authorities have made significant progress in processing applications, with 99.87% of the first phase and 58% of the second phase completed. Furthermore, beneficiaries whose applications were received by July have already received a deposit of Rs 3000 in their bank accounts. The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to eligible beneficiaries, and the overwhelming response demonstrates its popularity and need in the region.
