Nagpur: A flood in nullah near Bhim Nagar under MIDC Police Station swept away a mother-daughter duo here, on Monday morning. The body of mother Sumdha Matre has been retrieved, however, the search of her daughter, Archana is still underway.
According to police sources, the mother-daughter duo was crossing the nullah near Bhim Nagar, when they reportedly lost balanced and fell in it. With heavy rain lashing Nagpur District last night, the nullah was flooded. Thus, the duo was swept away in the flood.
