As part of this effort, vehicle checks are being conducted throughout the election period by the FST and SST teams.

If cash exceeding the prescribed limit or related materials are found during checks, the concerned individuals are asked to produce necessary documents. If they fail to provide valid documentation or required information, the cash is seized immediately. Following seizure, further investigation into the cash amount is carried out by the Police and the Income Tax Department.

If, during the inquiry, the concerned person submits appropriate and valid documents, a decision regarding the return of the seized cash and related items will be taken by the Monitoring Committee after due verification.
