Moghe assures Muslim community of 10 acre land for the graveyard after State, Centre nod

The Guardian Minister Shivajirao Moghe has assured the Muslim community that a proposal would be sent to the State Government and Central Government for allocation of land for Kabrastan (Graveyard) in Gittikhadan area. “As  soon as the police report is received the proposal for grave yard would be sent for approval,” Moghe said in a meeting held at Ravi Bhavan in Nagpur on Monday.

The Chairman of Nagpur Improvement Trust Pravin Darade, District Collector Saurabh Rao, NMC Commissioner Shyam Wardhane, Additional Police Commissioner Shrikant Tarwade, Sohel Patil, Nagpur City Congress President Jariprakash Gupta, Nagpur Nationalist Congress Party President Ajay Patil, and Muslim community members from Raja Tajbagh and Borgaon were present in the meeting.

The meeting decided the Government-possessed 10 acre land in Gittikhadan would be allocated to Muslim community once the No Objection Certificate from the concerned authorities is received and the police report as well. After the formalities are completed , the proposal, submitted by the Muslim community, would be forwarded to the State Government and Central Government for approval, Moghe said.

LAND FOR IGNOU EDUCATION HUB:

The Guardian Minister Shivajirao Moghe directed the concerned authorities to send a proposal to the Government for allocation of 3300 sq mt of land on Manewada Road to Indira Gandhi National Open University’s Multiple Media Educational Hub. Moghe issued the directives at the meeting held Ravi Bhavan.
