Minor girl kidnapped from Gokulpeth

In a shocking incident, a 13-year old girl was kidnapped from a crowded market that too in the presence of her parents.

According to police, the complainant Nandkishore Gunjaram Gajbhiye (40), a native of Balaghat in Madhya Pradesh but presently staying near Vazalwar Driving School in Shivaji Nagar, Nagpur, on Friday at about 7 pm had gone to Gokulpeth Market along with wife and two daughters for purchasing vegetables. However, to the bewilderment of Nandkishore Gajbhiye, he found his daughter Priyanka (13) missing and was reportedly kidnapped by some unidentified person(s). Nandkishore immediately lodged a complaint with Ambazari Police Station. PSI Chaudhary, in accordance with the directives of Maharashtra Government and Supreme Court that any minor girl or boy goes missing then the case should be treated as that of kidnapping, registered an offence under Section 363 of the IPC and launched a hunt to trace the girl.
