Palghar: MP Raju Shetty of Swabhimani Shetkari Sanghtan on Wednesday reached Dahanu railway station in Palghar to stop the train carrying milk from Gujarat to Mumbai. Shetty said they would not allow a single train carrying milk from Gujarat to enter Maharashtra.
The activists of Swabhimani Shetkari Sanghtan were also preparing to stop the Ahmedabad Passenger.

MP Raju Shetty said that the agitation was being staged to demand increase in milk prices in the interest of farmers and milk suppliers in Maharashtra. He said that women will be taking part in the agitation by taking their cattle on roads to stage chakka jam.
