Nagpur: A devastating late-night accident on the Dahegaon-Pipla road near Nagpur has left one youth dead on the spot and two others critically injured, after a speeding car rammed into a triple-seat motorcycle near Gajanan Hall around 12:30 am.
The deceased has been identified as Ashish Doifode, a resident of Isapur, who succumbed to his injuries instantly due to the impact.

According to preliminary information, the three youths were travelling on a single two-wheeler, reportedly riding triple seat, when a car coming from the opposite direction crashed into them with tremendous force. The collision was so severe that it left the bike mangled and the victims thrown onto the road.
In a shocking turn, the car driver fled the scene immediately after the accident, leaving the victims behind without any assistance.
The two injured victims sustained grievous injuries and are currently undergoing treatment, with their condition stated to be critical. Doctors are closely monitoring their condition as they fight for survival.
Hearing the impact, local residents rushed to the spot and initiated rescue efforts, shifting the injured to a nearby hospital. Police arrived shortly after, bringing the situation under control and beginning an investigation.
A manhunt has been launched to trace the absconding driver, whose identity remains unknown. Authorities are examining available leads and possible CCTV footage from the area.
