Nagpur: The Nagpur Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (NMRCL) has come out with a clarification regarding Majhi Metro Project on land in front of Ambazari Lake. Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, the Managing Director of Maha Metro Brujesh Dixit said that only one third of land belonging to Crazy Castle is needed for the metro project. If the space where parking slot is at present is made available then it would be immense use. “Since the past few days, confusion is prevailing on this particular space. NMRCL is currentlu holding talks with concerned departments and a solution will be hammered out soon,” Dixit stated.

“Crazy Castle is best place for entertainment in the city. And he wanted to stay it that way. People will reach Crazy Castle travelling in Majhi Metro in coming days. Hence Crazy Castle will remain where it is today,” the Managing Director asserted. He further said that the metro coaches being manufactured by China Rail Corporation would reach Nagpur by June 2018. A team of officials and employees of NMRCL is in China and monitoring the designs of the coaches and other aspects.

Dixit said that Indian Railway will connect at three places with the Majhi Metro in city. A special corridor at Santra Market-based Railway Station, Ajni and Khapri stations would be connected with Indian Railway.
