Mass Comm Journal ‘Campus’ Launched

Camp Release-PhotoNagpur News: In pursuance of their professional endeavour the students of Department of Mass Communication, Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) have come out with a student Journal  ‘Campus’  that showcases their talent of presenting stories, fact , figures from plethora  of subjects varying from rural lifestyle/problems  of potters in a little  village in Madhya Pradesh to the critical issue of unwed mothers in rural parts of Yavatmal district.

The Journal was released by Sanjay Tiwari, Resident Editor of Nav Bharat at a function held recently. Speaking on the occasion, Tiwari applauded the quality of matter and production and urged the future journalists to constantly read and write. “The more you practice writing, the more you will be required to read; and the more you read the higher will be the quality of your journalism,” he said. Sharing his experiences, the veteran journalist who specialised in crime reporting himself, advised the students to make full use of the excellent facilities provided by the Department to prepare for a fruitful career.

This endeavour of students which was planned and produced by Bachelor of Journalism(BJ) and MA in Mass Communication was supported and guided and mentored by Moiz Mannan Haque ,HOD of Department of Mass Communication.

Earlier, the guest was welcomed by  Babita Yadav. Moiz Mannan Haque, made the introductory remarks. The programme was conducted by  Imran Qureshi and  Vaishnavi Joshi proposed a vote of thanks. Assistant Professor Dr Dharmesh Dhawankar was also present.
