Nagpur: A man was attacked murderously by his elder brother over the petty issue of using the bathroom. The incident took place in the Wathoda police area here on Wednesday night. The accused has reportedly been arrested.
The victim, Swapnil Pandurang Bankar (29) and the accused Rahul Pandurang Bankar (31), are real brothers and reside in separate rooms in the same house at Plot No. 46, Prajapati Nagar, Old Bhandara Road, Wathoda. On Wednesday, around 10.30 pm, Rahul picked up a quarrel with Swapnil and asked him why he is using his bathroom frequently. As the wordy duel was going on, the accused Rahul attacked Swapnil with a steel rod and steel bucket and injured him grievously with the intention to kill him. Swapnil received injuries on his head and chest and was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Wathoda ASI Dinkar Kakde, based on Swapnil’s complaint, booked the accused Rahul Bankar under Section 307 of the IPC and reportedly arrested him. Further probe is underway.
