Nagpur News : Alert residents nabbed a 35-year-old man while he was fleeing with the stolen amount from a 70-year-old woman in Ramdaspeth area. The incident took place on Wednesday late night. Yogesh Ighe, a resident of Dhantoli, was handed over to Sitabuldi police.
Senior citizen, Rekha Bhivapurkar, a doctor, was alone at home when Ighe entered home and gagged her. The victim claimed that he even tried to strangulate her. However, when she screamed, he fled away with cash Rs 3000. The screams awoke nearby residents who rushed for help and nabbed Ighe. Police said that they are still questioning Ighe and are trying to know his involvement in past robberies.
