Nagpur: Doling out threats to kill grandparents of a minor girl, a middle aged man exploited the girl sexually for over two years. The accused happened to be a relative of the victimised girl.
The accused Arunsingh Denisingh Baghel (45), resident of Kawrapeth, near Durga Mandir, raped the 17-year old girl, his own relative, over a period of two years from 2.2.2015 to 12.2.2017. The accused exploited the helpless girl by threatening to kill her grandparents. The victimised girl was probably staying with her grandparents and the accused took advantage of the situation to fulfil his lust. Moreover, the accused Arunsingh Baghel did not spare sister of the victimised girl and frequently indulged in vulgar acts.
Ajni WPSI Mandwale, based on a complaint filed by the girl, has booked the accused Arunsingh Denisingh Baghel under Sections 376, 354, 506 of the IPC read with Sub-Sections 4, 8 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act. Further investigations are underway.
