Nagpur: A pervert man exploited his would-be wife sexually for over one year and later refused to marry her. Shockingly, four relatives of the accused rapist played a nasty role in the heinous crime.

According to police sources, marriage of the victimised woman, a resident of Mankapur, was fixed with the accused Nikesh Dhanaram Mohde (29), native of Chhindwara (MP), with the help of four other accused relatives namely Dhanaram Mohde, Usha Dhanaram Mohde, Rakhiya Mohde and Pannalal Mohde, all residents of Chhindwara, in December 2015. The accused fixed the date of marriage after Diwali. In the meantime, the accused Nikesh Mohde frequently contacted his would-be wife on phone as well as personally. He took her into confidence and raped her at different places.

However, when the complainant woman and her family asked about the date of marriage, the accused flatly refused to solemnise the marriage. Taken aback by the refusal, the victimised woman registered a case against the accused with Mankapur police in this connection.

PSI B D Naik, acting on the complaint, has booked the accused under Sections 417, 376, 506, 34 of the IPC and launched an in-depth probe into the matter.
