Decease Dinesh Maske
Nagpur: In a sensational incident, a man attacked his father with lethal weapon and killed him in Nandanvan area on Wednesday morning. The accused has been arrested.
The deceased has been identified as Dinesh Maske, resident of Nandanvan Slums. The accused son is Praful Maske.
According to reports, the accused Praful had opted for love marriage against the wishes of his father. Since then the father-son duo was at loggerheads and skirmishes were a routine affair. However, the running dispute took an ugly turn on Tuesday night. Around 11.30 pm, the father-son duo indulged in hotly worded brawl. In a fit of anger, Praful attacked his father with some sharp-edged weapon and injured him critically. The profusely bleeding Dinesh was taken to Government Medical College and Hospital. But he succumbed to the fatal injuries during the course of treatment.
On being informed, Nandanvan cops registered a murder case against Praful Maske and arrested him. Further probe is underway.
It is learnt that while the accused Praful was assaulting his father, his mother tried her best to intervene in the brawl and save her husband. But the enraged Praful did not show any mercy and continued to shower blow after blow on his father. The accused Praful stopped his attack only after Dinesh collapsed. Hearing the commotion, nearby residents gathered at the house of Maskes and saw Dinesh lying in a pool of blood. They took Dinesh to GMCH but he died during treatment.
