Nagpur: Tempers flied high in Wadi area when a man was brutally murdered by a group of persons as fallout of alleged illicit relationship. The main accused suspected the victim having affairs with his wife that resulted in the killing in cold blood. The sensational incident occurred near 8th Mile on Nagpur-Amravati Road here on Monday noon. The main accused has been arrested and hunt is on to apprehend others.
According to information, the victim has been identified as Mariba Sahebrao Jadhav (35), resident of 8th Mile. It is learnt that Mariba runs a “Paan Thela” in the area. It is further reported that the deceased Mariba was allegedly having illicit relationship with the wife of main accused Shravan Dhawrale. Out of this suspicion, the main accused Dhawrale and his 3-4 accomplices attacked Mariba with sword-like weapons in his house itself and injured him grievously. The profusely bleeding Mariba Jadhav was taken to Mayo Hospital where he succumbed to stab injuries while undergoing treatment.
A team of Wadi police reached the spot and started their investigation. Cops have succeeded in arresting the main accused Shravan Dhawrale and mounted a search to nab other accused accomplices.
