Ram Nagar Murder
Nagpur:
City’s posh Ramnagar area was on Wednesday left terror-struck as a man was murdered brutally in full public view. The spine-chilling killing took place near Shiv Mandir around 11 am. The assailants, probably six or more in number, were laced with sharp-edged weapons and did their job mercilessly.

The 38-year old deceased, Kushal Baburao Uike, was surrounded by the assaulters and stabbed repeatedly killing him on the spot. The daylight murder was witnessed by many nearby people but they preferred to remain mute spectators. However, as one of the assailants fled the spot on a Bullet motorcycle, people noted down the registration number and later alerted the cops about the murder. The Enfield Bullet bike reportedly had number MTE 6322 and may belong to one of the killers.

It is learnt that the murder of Uike could have a link with another murder that had taken place one and half month ago. A man named Bagga was done to death in the same manner in the same area. The deceased Kushal Uike was in decoration business and his killing could be the handy work of his rivals in the profession. Police investigation is likely to focus on this angle, too.
The crime spot left passersby shuddering as blood was splattered all over near Kushal’s body.

Upon receiving information about the murder, DCP Zone-2 Kalasagar, Ambazari PI Atul Sabnis, Crime Branch sleuths rushed to the spot and started an in-depth probe.
