Man looted of cash valuables worth Rs 2.42 lakh keeping the him on gun-point

loot_logo_on_BlackNagpur: In a daring theft that took place in the wee hours of Thursday, a man was robbed of his valuables and cash on knife point and gun-point as the thieves had barged into his house while the man was sleeping with his family.

According to information, Brijesh Rustamdas Patel (35), a resident of Dagore layout, Model School, near Gajanan Mandir, was sleeping in his house with his family on Thursday. He suddenly heard a voice that broke his sleep. When he went to see source of the voice, he noticed seven people who had barged into the house. On noticing Brijesh, the thieves took out their knives and a gun and threatened Brijesh to keep his mouth shut. The thieves then looted gold jewellery and Rs 38,000 cash collectively worth Rs 2,42 lakh from the almirah. Thieves threatened Brijesh and later escaped the scene. As soon as the thieves left, Brijesh informed Koradi police about the theft.

Koradi police reached the spot and performed panchanama. Cops have registered an offence under Sections 395 read with sub sections 3+25, and 4+25 of the Arms Act.
