Man hoodwinks court for procuring bail in criminal case, booked

Nagpur: In an audacious act, a middle aged man hoodwinked none other than a court in an attempt to procure bail in a criminal case. The accused has been booked.

According to details, the accused Devidas Laxmanrao Wakode, resident of Plot No. 20, New Dnyaneshwar Nagar, Manewada Road, surreptitiously tried to hoodwink the court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate by forging a solvency certificate in order to procure bail in a criminal case (R L No. 1029/MRC-81/2014-15/Dated 14.09.15) and submitted in the court pretending it to be true.

The accused trickster not only forged the solvency documents but arranged a bogus guarantor and thus deceived the court.

Acting on the complaint filed by a court employee Manda Ashok Vardhane (52), resident of Kamgar Colony, Near Ramna Maruti Mandir, Sadar Lady PSI Bagde has booked the accused Devidas Wakode under Sections 193, 196, 419, 420, 468, 471 of IPC and mounted a thorough investigation into the case.
