Nagpur: Tension ran high near busy Dosar Bhavan Square on Central Avenue when a body a middle aged man was found lying there on Friday morning. On the basis of documents recovered from the body, police have initially identified the deceased as Chandan Verma.
According to police, passersby spotted the body lying near Dosar Bhavan Square in the morning of Friday. Someone informed the Police Control Room about the incident. Subsequently, Ganeshpeth police were alerted. A team of cops reached the spot and after completing the ‘Panchnama’ formalities, sent the body to Mayo Hospital for post-mortem. A case of accidental death has been registered and a thorough investigation has been initiated to confirm the exact identity of the deceased.
