Nagpur: In an awful incident, a man enacted a “marriage drama” and raped a minor girl over a period of five years. The man also forced the girl to undergo abortions 3-4 times. Later, the conman left her in the lurch when she again became pregnant.
The sordid episode began in 2012 when the accused Faizul Hasan Ahman (28), resident of Mominpura, Saifinagar, entered the minor girl’s (now 21 years) house situated in Hudkeshwar area on the pretext of asking for water. As the girl was alone, the accused Faizul raped her forcibly and later threatened to kill her parents if she opened her mouth. Thereafter, with nasty designs in his mind, the accused Faizul enacted a “marriage drama” in a sort of ‘solace’ to the victimised girl. With this “marriage,” the accused exploited the girl sexually for a period of over five years. He also forced her to undergo abortions 3-4 times. And now, as the girl again became pregnant (3-4 months), the accused Faizul told her that he is solemnising second marriage and do whatever she wants to do. The dejected girl finally registered a case against the accused with Hudkeshwar police in this connection.
Hudkeshwar ASI Giri, acting on the complaint, booked the accused Faizul Hasan Ahman under Sections 376(2)(N), 312, 506 of the IPC read with Sub-Sections 4, 6 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act. Further probe is on.
