Nagpur: A 50-year old man was assaulted murderously by four youths over old dispute in Gittikhadan area on Saturday night. The four accused have been booked and are being searched.
The victim Akash Munna Kumbhre (50), resident of Azad Nagar, went to a public urinal near Sabir Paan Thela in Gittikhadan Square to relieve him around 9.30 pm on Saturday. Finding him alone, the four accused Vrushabh Kodape (22) of Panchsheel Nagar, Ashish Wilson, Birshya Maraskolhe and Satya Gaekwad accosted him and attacked with knives. They stabbed Akash on his stomach and left side of back and also beat him with kicks and fists. Later all the four accused fled the spot. Nearby people rushed the bleeding Akash to Mayo Hospital where he is being treated for stab injuries.
Gittikhadan PSI Nandgave, on the basis of a statement by Akash, has booked the four accused under Sections 326, 34 of IPC and searching for them.
