Man asks for pending dues, gets beaten near Tulsibagh road

Nagpur: Asking for outstanding dues left a 34-year-old man badly bruised, as two men hit him with with sticks near Tulshibagh road under Kotwali Police station on Tuesday night.

34-year-old complainant Sheikh Javed Sheik Bhuru resident of Plot. No. 17, Gaosiya Colony, Dighori, had lent money to accused Akhil alias Akka (24) resident of Hasanbagh and Bhura alias Rakesh Wankhede (28) resident of Nandanvan. However the accused duo failed to return money and were seeking more time from the complainant.

On Tuesday night, when the complainant was on his way to home he come across the accused duo on Tulsibagh road. He then asked for his money which did not go down well with the accused who started hurling abuses at him. When the complainant resisted, the accused duo picked up sticks and him on his head and chest.

The victim somehow managed to escape and bumped into his friend Javed Ali Mushtaaq on the way. However the accused duo followed him and when Javed tried to intervene he was also dealt with blows his head and back.

Following the compliant of 34-year-old Sheikh, Kotwali Police have booked accused Akka and Wankhede under section 326, 324, 504,34 of IPC and started the probe.
