Nagpur: In what could be said as sheer escape, the driver of a car veered off the road and entered into the basement while trying to prevent hitting an auto-rickshaw on May 21, 2016.

According to sources, the accident occurred near Dhantoli Garden. An Hyundai – I-20 was moving at a fairly good speed while an auto-rickshaw was also approaching the car at an equal fast pace. In order to escape from hitting the auto-rickshaw and causing some fatalities, the driver of Hyundai – I-20 showed presence of mind and veered off the road only to break the barrier and enter the space between the ground-floor and basement. This action by the driver of the Hyundai – I-20 saved the passengers of the auto-rickshaw. The Hyundai – I-20 car was practically dangling in air.

Surprisingly, the Dhantoli Police Station is not aware about the case since no one ledged any complaint. The details of the number of the car and the driver of the car could not be ascertained. Sources claimed that no fatalities or any person getting injured was reported.
