District PRO Anil Thakre awarded Best PRO during Nation Public Relations’ Day
Nagpur: While addressing the audience Managing Director of Central India Institute of Medical Sciences Dr Lokendra Singh said that one possess a pro-active behavior in ones career and establish as many cordial relationship as possible and maintain it too is the need of the hour.
Dr Lokendra Singh was addressing the audience at the meeting organized by the Nagpur branch of Public Relations Society of India to celebrate the Nation Public Relations’ Day.
The programme was presided over by Director of Directorate of Public Relations (Nagpur and Amravati Division) Mohan Rathod. While addressing the audience Director of Directorate of Public Relations Mohan Rathod said that unless one has an interest in his work (career), one will not forget one’s hunger and thirst and strive to excel in their work with creativity, tension-free and pleasurable fashion.
He added that there are many new challenges in the field of Public Relations, but good public relations alone help in making even difficult work seem easy.
During this occasion, like every year, the best Public Relations Officer’s award was given away by the Public Relations Society of India.
This year, District Public Relations Officer Anil Thakre was awarded Best PRO for his remarkable work in this field.
On this occasion District PRO Anil Thakre and PRO of MSEDCL Yashwant Mohite too delivered their speech. The programme to observe Nation Public Relations’ Day organized by Nagpur branch of Public Relations Society of India was on the theme, Ek Rashtra Ek Swar, Jansampark Ke Madhyam Se Vishwas Ka Setu Nirman” (Meaning One Nation, One Voice, establishment of Setu (bridge) of Trust through Public Relations alone).
Many Public Relations Officers from Government offices, Semi-Government Offices, Corporate and Private companies, Representatives of Advertisment Agencies were present on the occasion.
The programme was conducted by Satyendra Prasad Singh who also delivered the Introductory speech. The vote of thanks was given by former PRO of NMC Madhukar Deshmukh.
