Nagpur News: Union Power Ministry recently awarded grade ‘A’ to Mahavitran for its work done in infrastructure sector. This was declared by Power Minister Jyotiraditya Scindiya in a meeting held at New Delhi. This was the first time when Union Power Minister has taken cognizance of the work done by distribution companies on a yearly basis.
Union Power Ministry assigned ICRA and CARE to review the working of 39 power distribution companies across the country. Points including yearly financial status of power distribution companies, audit reports, improvement done in the network, following regulations etc, informed a press release issued by MSEDCL local office.
Another state to get a grade ‘A’ for its work is West Bengal.
