Nagpur Today : Maharashtra vote on October 15, counting on October 19: The Election Commission of India on Friday announced the schedule of upcoming Assembly Elections in Maharashtra. 288 seats of Maharashtra goes to the polls on 15 October. It will be a one-day poll. Counting on 19 October.
The model code of conducting comes into effect immediately in the state.
September 20 is last date for notification, September 27 for filing nominations, scrutiny on 29 Sept and last day for withdrawal of nomination is October 1.
