Nagpur: The result for Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination or class 12 of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has been declared on May 30 at 1 pm. The exams were conducted from February 28 to March 25, 2017.
State Board records 89.50 pass percentage in HSC (std XII) exam for all nine Divisions in Maharashtra. It’s a rise of about 2.90% against last year.
According to Board officials, a total of 87.5 per cent girls passed the ex?ms compared with 78 per cent boxs.
Konkan tops all divisions. Divisionwise results are as follows: Kolhapur- 91.40%, Mumbai- 88.21%, Aurangabad- 89.83%, Nagpur- 89.05%, Pune- 91.16%, Konkan- 95.20%, Latur- 88.22 %, Nasik- 88.22%, Amrawati- 89.12%.
More than 15.05 lakh students appeared for the Maharashtra HSC 2017 exams out of 8,48,000 were boys while 6,56,000 were girls.
Faculty wise results are as follows:
Science-95.85%, Arts-81.91% Commerce-90.57%.
Students will get their mark lists on June 9 at 3 pm in their respective colleges.
