“Maha Aarti” of Vidarbha Ka Raja Lord Ganesh at HB Town on Sept 10

Nagpur: Brahman Mahasabha has organized “Maha Aarti” of Vidarbha Ka Raja Lord Ganesh at HB Town on September 10 as part of ongoing 10-Day Ganeshutsav. The “Maha Aarti” will see 2100 Brahmans chanting Vedic Mantras and 110 couples performing puja of Vighnaharta. The “Maha Aarti” will commence after Ganesh Pujan by the chief guests former state minister Satish Chaturvedi and Abha Chaturvedi.

The Chief Convener of the religious programme Anil Pande said that the “Maha Aarti” is being organized to seek blessings of Lord Ganesh to save Vidarbha from drought and also pleasing Meghraja to shower the region with rainfall for a peaceful and happy Vidarbha and prosperous farmers. This grand “Maha Aarti” is being organized for the first time in entire Maharashtra and Vidarbha as well as 2100 Brahmans will be performing puja and chanting Vedic mantras simultaneously.

A host of personalities are being given responsibilities for making the event successful. Shankardayal Shukla is arranging Thalis for 110 couples, Sangit Aarti will be arranged by Rajendra Prasad Mishra. Similarly, Sivesh Gautam, Jitendra Tiwari, Pankaj Maharaj, Shatrughan Tripathi, Rammani Mishra, Rajesh Pauranik, Udaybhan Tiwari, Bhaskar Pandey, Ramesh Tiwari, Surendra Pandey are taking responsibilities of different aspects.
