Nagpur: In a tragic road accident which occurred at Bhola Ganesh Square, a Mahindra Vehicle dashed a Luna rider who died on the spot on November 16, 2014. The deceased is identified as Anup Waghmare aged 36 years and a resident of Subedar Layout, Hudkeshwar Road. According to police sources, Anup Waghmare was going on his Luna bearing RTO Registration number MH-31/ AE 5918 towards Shakardhara Square at around 10:50 pm. Suddenly a rashly driven Mahindra vehicle bearing registration number MH-40/ 2535 coming from SD Hospital Square rammed into the Luna rider Anup Waghmare who fell down and died on the spot.
The Kotwali Police has registered a case under relevant sections of IPC on the complaint of Anup Waghmare’s brother Sachin Waghmare against the Mahindra Vehicle’s driver. The cops are searching for the Hit-and-Run Mahindra vehicle’s driver.
