EVM vs Ballot campaign failed in Nagpur, Ramtek

The campaign against EVM failed in Nagpur and Ramtek Lok Sabha constituencies. Several organisations had appealed to people to file nomination papers in large numbers. If the number of candidates filing nominations in one constituency reaches 400, then the Election Commission has to drop the idea of holding polls through EVM.

In Nagpur and Ramtek, the sale of applications was good, but very less converted into filing of nominations. In Nagpur only 53 applied while in Ramtek 41 applied and 35 of them were found valid.
