Lok Sabha Elections: Nagpur witnesses 38.43% turnout, 40% voting in Ramtek by 3 pm

Nagpur: It seems like the heat overpowered voters’ zeal in the Second Capital of the State, as by 3 pm, Nagpur recorded the lowest turnout in voting among other Vidarbha districts.

The Bhandara-Gondia Lok Sabha constituency recorded 45.88 percent voting till 3 pm.

Chandrapur recorded 43.48 percent, Gadchiroli-Chimur recorded the lead in Vidarbha with 55.79 percent, while Nagpur reported the lowest of them all with 38.43 percent, followed by Ramtek with 40.10 percent by 3 pm.

With some respite from the heat in the evening, voting is likely to pick up in Nagpur and Ramtek.”
